The only way I could upgrade was to ring turbine myself in America and pay over the phone with my card. Oh and im from the UK. I thought VIP didnt include expansion content. I got my vip while playing thru steam if i remb right, I thk on the opening screen there is an upgrade account option and I did not have any problems If you mean steam wallet you can't you need to provide them with a method of payment. Head start is over, and I can get no advantage from using store points in head start, so I lose all potential there.
Nothing new on the forum except some of you have gotten points that started after I sent my email. How much patience do they expect from a person who has active subscriptions to more than 1 of thier games? I've been playing almost a month as a VIP and have still not received my points. They're no longer on sale so I have to wait another month for more pts if I ever even get them. I'm pretty miffed atm. It just feels like a bait and switch to me.
It's funny how everything else works in the store except our free pts. Why don't they just give all vip's a code we can submit in the store for our pts. Problem solved. My points were credited to my account within a few minutes of talking to the rep. So they are resolving the issue via phone now.
But better make sure your phone has speakerphone capabilities, because you're going to be sitting there a while even calling right as acct. Kinda funny how there isn't a huge delay in turbine points changing hands when we spend them. Same boat here Doesn't everyone on earth ahve unlimited long distance at this point? Its taking about weeks to fix people's account. You just have to be patient. A lot of people have this same problem. It took them 17 days to fix mine from submission. It only took a day and a half from when I emailed Accounts with a polite message.
